What Should You Do If You Are Locked Out of Your Car in Biddulph?

If you are locked out of your car in Biddulph, check every door and the boot, then call AutoVault with the registration and where the car is. The car is opened at the car with non destructive tools, from £85, with no call-out fee.

  1. 1
Check every door and the boot

A rear door or the boot is sometimes still open, and a spare key at home may be closer than a call out. If neither helps, move to the next step.

  2. 2
    Call with the details

Book emergency vehicle unlocking with the registration, the make and model and where the car is, such as the Grange car park, Knypersley Pool or a lane on Biddulph Moor. The price and the arrival estimate are confirmed first.

  3. 3
    Put safety first

If a child or an animal is locked inside and at risk, call 999 straight away, then call AutoVault. Otherwise wait somewhere safe near the car.

  4. 4
The car is opened without damage

Non destructive entry tools open the door, usually in under 15 minutes on site, and the keys are back in your hand.

If the keys are lost rather than locked inside, a new key is made at the car from £180 once the V5C and photo ID are checked.

Biddulph Prices in 2026

How Much Does an Auto Locksmith Cost in Biddulph?

Auto locksmith prices in Biddulph start from £50 for key cutting and from £180 when every key is lost, with no call-out fee. Unlocking starts from £85, key programming from £60 and a spare or replacement key from £145, confirmed from the registration before travelling.

Three things move the price. The first is the key type, because a smart key for a newer car costs more than a blade with a remote. The second is whether a working key is left. The third is the time, because a call late at night can cost more than the same job in the day. The village does not change the price, so a job on Biddulph Moor costs the same as the same job on the High Street.

AutoVault came to produce a spare key for my vehicle and programme a lost one out of the system. The service was exceptional and communication was excellent throughout. I was called before arrival (on time) and he did a stellar job. My vehicle posed several issues with the programming process and he went above and beyond to resolve this for me, perservering and having to come back the next day after some additional time and work was needed to complete the job which he did successfully. Extremely knowledgeable and professional, and a top guy! I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I will definitely use again in future.

They came to us within 20 minutes, got us in the car quickly with no damage at all done to the car. Would 100% recommend if you are in the area. We are from Scotland so wasn't sure who to use but glad we used these guys.

I have a courtesy car and the key fob stopped working. The garage were shut for the whole weekend and I needed the use of a car. Ben was amazing and went over and beyond. He was very patient with me trying to identify where the emergency override was. . He then offered to come out and he arrived within 15 minutes. Bizarrely the key fob started to work as he pulled up. He still checked the fobs battery for me and showed me where the override on the car was. He refused to charge me the agreed call out charge. In fact he refused to charge me at all. If I could have given him 10 stars I would .Very knowledgeable and a gentleman. If you ever get locked out of your car definitely give Ben a call
